(RANA) was founded in 1979 by Nancy Chew, the well-known and highly-regarded head of NJC Enterprises for over 20 years. Inspired to find her own consultancy, RANA, founded as a consortium of veteran regulatory affairs practitioners, specializes personalized client service, regulatory procedures and policies, strategic planning, FDA liaison, team building, and general management.
Author, lecturer, teacher, consultant and recipient of several awards (Who We Are/Nancy’s Bio/Honors and Awards), Nancy has helped large and small companies bring products to market for more than 30 years.
Nancy’s decades of experience encompass nearly every aspect of regulatory affairs including:

Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina.
After earning her Master of Science in physiology from Florida State University she went on to do additional pre-doctoral graduate work in:
- Biochemistry at Cornell University Medical College and Bowman Gray School of Medicine
- Pharmacology and Toxicology at St John’s University
